years of searching for a serial killer, criminal pathologist, Dr. Veronica Donavan, refuses to accept a cold trail. Especially
since she believes his list of victims includes her little sister. Vowing to solve the crime herself, she disregards her superior’s
orders to halt her investigation and follows her leads to America, certain she has found the man responsible for her family's
grief. With a good bit of luck and a little deception, 'Roni' secures her place with the local team of FBI agents racing to
stop the murderer that has begun to prey on Denver area girls. Blinded by her need for justice and preoccupied by the handsome
agent assigned to protect her, it will take Dean Colby's keen intuition and objective expertise to make her realize she has
become the focal point of a psychopath, and has much more at stake than just her career. Dr. Veronica Donavan (Roni) has spent the last two years hunting down a serial killer she believes took the life
of her little sister, Emily. When Scotland Yard closes the case, she moves to Denver where she believes he has resumed his
killing spree. As the case unfolds, more information comes to light, revealing that Roni holds the key to the whole investigation
– and that she may be the killer’s intended target.
Agent Dean Colby is assigned to protect her, and
he moves into her apartment and into her bed. Although neither is looking for love, they can’t deny the passion that
blazes between them, and discover that love may have found them. Just when you think the case has been solved, the author
throws a curveball. The climax will leave you stunned, hoping that Roni can outsmart the killer and find true love after all.~Alice

WOW – incredible…I’m actually sort of
speechless – I cried – I smiled – I laughed….I loved it –I read 6 chapters on the way to Cabo
and had to make myself stop reading because I wanted to have something to look forward to reading by the ocean!!! Needless
to say – I finished it the next day by the sea…It was so wonderful! I loved the first book – but this one
is even better! Honestly – there aren’t many books that captivate me that way. The way this story unfolds kept
me on the edge of my seat throughout and I could not put the book down. ~Shannon-Eads, Tn
Bravo! How wonderfully exquisite! Superb characters and locations.
It’s as good as “The Third Son” or better. They’re both unique in their own way but equally as captivating.
Please, please don’t stop writing, I love, love, love it! ~Nancy -Memphis, TN
I just finished reading the chapters you sent on “Flowers for Emily”!
WOW, is all I can say. I thought you out did yourself on “The Third Son”, and maybe you did, but you will OUTSHINE
yourself on “Flowers for Emily”! This is truly a book that I cannot wait to read, and people will hate to have
to put it down. It has such a great twist in it, something you really really do not expect. Good Job! ~Jeannie-Southaven,

Two years of searching
for a serial killer most people think is long gone or dead has consumed Dr Veronica “Roni” Donovan's life. She
has become fixated on capturing this killer so he can not cause any more grief then he already has. The trail has gone cold
until the killings begin again in the USA. Once she gets herself assigned to the team as a liaison from Scotland Yard she
thinks she is home free. That is until two things happen that complicate her search and her life. The first one is Dean Colby.
The sparks that fly when these two are in a room together are undeniable and the second minor complication to her life is
that some where along the way the killer has become as fixated on her as she has on him.
I have to admit that I
was worried about reading Flowers For Emily. Ms. Vance had captured my heart with her first book and I was worried that her
latest couldn't live up to my high expectations. Two pages into this book I realized I had nothing to fear. Ms Vance once
again created a world and characters that are electrifying and I couldn't stop reading until the last page. If she keeps this
up I may never need to diet again. This book is a definite must own and a true keeper, congratulations, Ms Vance, you've done
it yet again. ~Mary Ebert/Everything Fit to Read

Flowers for Emily is a fabulous
romantic police procedural starring a tough ass female and an open minded male “match make” by a devious killer.
The story line is fast-paced as the two law enforcement officials from separate sides of the pond work together to end the
murderous reign. The instant attraction seems unnecessary, but does add to the triangle once the killer hones in on Roni.
Readers will enjoy this strong thriller with a terrific final twist that should have been obvious, but most aficionados will
not see it coming until Monday morning quarterbacking.~ Harriet Klausner/GGR Reviews
Scotland Yard Inspector Veronica (Roni) Donovan comes to the States in her quest to try and close
a case that has cost her a marriage and a sister's life so far. Before she even begins, her frustrations drive her to the
gym where she has a brief encounter with a handsome mystery man, Dean Colby, who she next sees at work. As it happens, he
is an FBI agent and on the same case. After the initial awkwardness passes, the pair is able to work together as they try
to stop a serial killer who is now fixated on Roni herself. Though she is willing to take whatever risks needed, Dean is not
sure he is able to face losing her, even though inevitably, he will, either through the murderer's victory or when she goes
back home. When all the clues are added up though, neither could have anticipated what would happen next.
Though the instant romantic/sexual attachment that forms does stretch my credulity a bit, such things are the
norm. Once past this, the reader is treated to a complex, edge of your seat thriller that holds surprises and a nicely twisted
solution. ~A.Killgore/Huntress Reviews
